Felt great for the first 12 miles then 270 foot climb in 1 mile combined with 20 MPH sustained head wind with gusts up to 40 mph for the last 8 miles really took its toll. Very hilly course throughout.

Overall 7th place out of 97. 3rd in 30-39 AG
Last year the average finishing time was 2:33:44 this year it was 2:50:18 a difference of 16:34. Comparing the top 10 times, this year's top 10 averaged 13:49 slower than last year. Amongst the 28 people who ran the race last year and this year the average finishing time was 12:43 slower than last year. Only 1 person ran a faster time this year than they did last year.
Point being, that wind sucked.
