First run in a month or so. Legs felt good, not short of breath, but HR seemed way high for almost all of the run. Walked a few times and verified what the HRM was telling me and it was pretty much spot on. Hard to believe I've lost that much cardio fitness that a relatively easy pace had my HR around 90%max and I actually hit 99%for a bit. going ot try running every day at a VERY slow pace to keep the HR at a more reasonable level for a few weeks. Once cardio fitness is back, I'll start upping the pace to where it should be.
