Was supposed to do speedwork today. Did the speedwork portion but died out at the last recovery and decided to call it quits.
Workout plan: Dist 4 Mi, inc Warm: 2x1600 in 11:31 w/800 jogs; Cool
I should have warmed up for a full mile and then just use the last 800 jog as cool down. But I wasn't thinking about it and planned to do 1/2 mile w/u and 1/2 c/d. Anyway for the actual speedwork miles did the 1st in 11:32, and 2nd in 11:22. And then just jogged for .25 instead of .5 because it seemed pointless as I was just shuffling along.
