As I was getting ready to head out, I realized that I have no training plan and thus no focus for my runs. Perhaps I should get working on that. Anyway, my initial thought was to run for an hour. At about 53 minutes I started to think 55 minutes would be good enough. Then I started to wonder what was wrong with me that I could not possibly run five more lousy minutes. I think this is a pattern with me -- that I will give up right before the hardest part. Not very happy that my pace is so sluggish. Just can't seem to convince my legs that they should go faster. Was up half the night having coughing fits so maybe that's a factor.
