Ran a VERY slow 5 mi, knee has been irritated and swollen, so I took this run very gently. I worked on my stride, keeping it very short with quick foot turnover. Physically, when I finished I felt ready to run another 5 mi, and my knee was only just starting to swell up again (the pressure in my knee increasing to an uncomfortable level). I made sure to stretch pretty thoroughly, particularly my quads and hamstrings, which have been tight due to my knee issue.
