I did the willPower and grace class today and didn't have much calve pain at all. However, there is not a tremendous amount of jumping or running in place in this class, so it's not really comparable to running. This class consisted of lots of squats and lunges, and a 3:30 plank hold, as well as other marvelously devious exercises, like plie (sp?) squats but on the balls of your feet. I expected that to hurt, but it didn't.
