I really wanted to run 12 miles today. But a problem kept me busy at lunch and through 5:15 at which point I rushed to the gym. I didn't want to run outside anymore because it was dark and if I ran longer than expected, I could get locked out of the gym at 7pm. So the treadmill it is... started at about 8:12 pace and slowly increased until 7:30 pace (which are 20% and 10% slower than a 6:50 mile). Unfortunately, at 6.5 miles the emergency stop came out on the tm. I replaced it and got another 1.50 miles in when the tm computer failed. I moved to another treadmill, but my iphone fell and got kicked across the gym by the spinning belt. I took that as a sign to wrap it up at 8 miles, also because my left hamstring was sore (yesterday's new class) and my rt peroneus was tight. Good run, all in all.

Oh man, I hate it when I pull out that emergency stop! And then you dropped your iphone. This has happened to me too. So I just looked at your plan, and it looks like a Pfitzenger plan, is that right? I didn't realize you will be going longer on Wednesdays. Maybe every once in a while I could join you and just run longer at lunch.
