Notes
This was a good long run, a single 14 mile loop around Ewing Township. I took it slow, but didn't have much choice because of all the ice and snow on the ground on my route. Most sidewalks were not shoveled from yesterday's snowstorm, so I had to take it to the street shoulders. Unfortunately they weren't very clear either so I ended up in the traffic lane. I couldn't start my run until after sunset, so I had to be careful in the dark. It was in the 30s so knowing I'd be out for two hours, I dressed warmly. My right knee had a twinge for about one-half mile during the middle of the run. I checked my form, and it went away. Funny, lately my calves have been "tingling" a bit during some runs (right more than left), almost like a tickle. It feels good, but I don't know what it could mean. Hopefully it's magic calve muscle pixie dust. Also, my fourth toe on my right foot was rubbing the top of my shoe. This could be the thorlo socks I wore tonight. I usually wear thinner socks in the summer. My blisters from earlier in the week posed no issues at all, but they are still there :)
