Comment: "Wow, what a beautiful place and Wow, what big hills. First third went quickly, running with Celeste W and the Canadian bunch (Ed-bill, Larry, Sarah, and Cherie) swapping stories back and forth. Second third started with a 3 mile climb mostly straight up! That was tough. It took me another 6 miles to recover, then felt pretty good up to the 34 mile point. Saw my sweetie there and she took good care of me at the aid station. The last third went pretty quickly, with a lot of tough downhill running (the quads were going fast). I had an unbelievable time in the mountains!"
