Explored the Chaparral Trail, starting in Farmersville and turning around just past Pecan Gap where the trail was blocked by a fence and a no tresspassing sign! This time included an extended stop in Pecan Gap for lunch and another 30-40 min break in Wolfe City for a beverage. I stopped again for about 20 min in Celeste for a Code Red Mt Dew... good stuff! The trail was quite passable everywhere but some short strethces near Pecan Gap. A few of the railroad bridges were not very rideable, due to either poor spacing of the cross ties or due to dense vegitation over the path/tree limbs blocking the bridge.
Nutrition was fine, hydration was fine and electrolytes were fine! Good ride.
