SOS workout of 4 x 1.5 miles at target of 8:30 to 8:35 mpm with 1/2 mile recovery in between. I did the 1/2 mile recoveries by turning around and going uphill on the Rec path. That way I could get the whole workout mileage done by the time I got to the HS at the bottom of the Rec path.
Pretty much nailed the workout but started to feel twinge/strained muscle in right side glute during the last repeat. Not good. Then I realize I'm about 1 mile away from the bus stop with the intervals done and have 8 minutes to make the bus. Okay. Going to be one more 1 mile SOS interval I guess and hope the bus is slightly late. Did another "cool down" mile in 8:38 to make the bus. Wednesday is day off which will hopefully help with strained muscle.
