Notes

SOS #2 of the week. This is the "Tempo" run which really is MP. Luke Humphrey just sent out update on SOS runs and how not to run the Strength workout too fast. If you do, you often see that you can't sustain the SOS Tempo workout. Well, that is exactly what happened to me.

I ran the SOS strength on Wednesday at avg of 8:25 mpm or so which is supposed to be 10 seconds faster than goal MP. Today, I was shooting for 8 miles at 8:45 mpm and I had to throw in the towel at mile 7.25. Just couldn't keep going at the pace.

Lesson learned- run SOS strength at 8:35 to 8:40 and then SOS Tempo at 8:45 to 8:50.

I don't know if the downhill of the path makes up for the altitude or whether it actually is easier than running in humidity at low altitude. I think it is about even Steven so this wasn't terrible effort, just not enough success.
