This is a brutal course in the winter. Basically I leave the neighborhood and climb, down and then climb for a mile. Then do mile repeats in a neighborhood like Burnside Hill. Then head back, climb the sadistic 1/3 mile hill, down and then back home.

Do this against the wind on the 1 mile climb in 16 degrees.

I wore tights, wool socks, short sleeve shirt and long sleeve and outer shell Patagonia light jacket. Neck Gator, knit cap. Embrace The Suck cotton gloves with thin mittens over. About 4 miles in, off came the mittens, opened up the jacket. Toes were mostly okay.
