Took the free bus to Frisco. Got off at 6th and Maine and started looking for the paved bike path to run back the approx. 10 miles. Saw a guy who looked like a runner. Asked him (Bill) where the path was and he said he was running to Breck! But, he was going on the trails and not the paved path. Decided to go with him. Nice run. Less technical and easier single track most of the way than we are used to. The tough part was the climb from Frisco at 9100 up to about 10,200. Then you run along the Peaks from 1 to Peak 7/8. Really nice views unlike the AT. A few mountain bikers to avoid.
Hard to breathe at first and then better once we had crested. First time I've run from Frisco to Breck or vice versa. I'd do this again. Peaks Trail/Colorado Trail/Miners Rd Trail.
