A good indication of my fitness. I was targeting 2 hours and started with and stayed with the 2 hour pacer for about 5 miles. Breathing felt good so started to pull away. The course is pretty benign with some hills but not terrible.
Pretty tight mpm with 12 out of 13 miles at MP or below.
Being honest, this would reflect about a 4:05 marathon. Not a bad effort at altitude and I probably could have shaved off a minute if I felt like it.
A guy came up to me after the finish and said that he was pacing off me as I was clipping off the miles consistently. Nice compliment.
