OMG hot and humid. Not a stick of shade on the Hammond HS track. Fred, Greg and I sweated through a tough workout. Chris sent me 3 x 1600 at 7:10 mpm with 400 recovery in between.
No F*ng way. Maybe I could do one of those in the fall but not 3 of them in near 90 degrees.
Decided before the workout to do 7:45 mpm pace and hit mile repeats, not 1600m repeats.
1st mile - 7:28 mpm
2nd mile- 7:29 mpm
3rd mile - 7:44 mpm
Fell off on the 3rd mile but my "recovery" 400m were sub 9 minute pace. I kicked ass on this workout.
