That is right, 92 degrees when we started at 5pm. Shalynn, Chris F, Audrey, Paula and her daughter Allison. Easy pace out to the turnaround. Then the pain began. Audrey and I picked it up and you know how she is. She thinks she's running behind you but she is actually pulling you along and then as you match her she goes faster. After spending days in Key West, not only was her tan great, she was acclimated to the heat. I huffed and puffed with her. At one point we had dropped the pace below 8 min per mile.
Calling this a tempo run for the 2 to 3 miles of real tempo work.
