Yesterday's quicker run combined with the leg workout last night gave me tired legs this morning. I tried to hover around 8 min pace the whole time, but the last couple miles starting getting slower (8:20ish); however that's still quite a bit faster than I normally was running. My glutes were definitely shot by mile 15. I was planning on 20 but when I stopped at 18 to refill my water I could feel exactly how shot my legs were (ham/glute) and I figured I might as well stop instead of quad my way through some 9 min miles the way I always have.

It amazes me how I raced in the past when I start to see the difference in how my training could likely feel. It's like the difference between running and jogging. Hopefully this means that if I can get my mileage back up into the 90-100s someday all running sub 7:30 pace that perhaps I'll be faster at racing - who knows.
