Mashed up all my routes for something different today. Took Douglass rd to the lakes then went to the river walk. Saw an absurd amount of deer, like 9 or 10 including some babies. Actually had to stop & wait for a minute because they were blocking the trail and wouldn’t move. I don’t think I have anything to worry about but sometimes when they’re just standing there staring at me I’m scared they’re going to attack me. Good run overall, got a little hungry towards the end. Felt a tiny bit of the same injury that plagued me all winter starting to creep back up so I gotta watch that. Successful 40 mi week!!
