Strategy today was to not look at my watch at all and not worry about pace so the heat wouldn’t screw me over by the end. Worked p well. Worst was running right into the sun but there were some nice shady patches. Overall was good. During mile 8 I specifically crossed the street so I could run on the sidewalk through this one lawn’s sprinkler, but when the guy saw me coming he turned it off :/
