Foggy, misty morning complete with road construction and wet shoes. Ran a solid 4 miles in like 37 minutes, but then died on the next mile and a quarter like I usually do. However, I was able to rally and bust ass on the last mile home to finish 2 minutes below the hour mark. You know you give good effort if at the end you violently retch after you finish. Now the key is to not have that 5th mile fuck up a good time. The road construction through the Willows neighborhood didn't help but I didn't help myself on Winter Island either. Overall, a great run though.
