Started at a 9 min pace after a 3/4 mile warm up and decreased to 8:34 over 6 minutes. held for the remainder of the 20 minutes. in the last 4 minutes I dropped pace 2 more times to a low of 8:14 for about 90 sec total.
Was not as hard as I thought it would be. I didn't figure there would be anyway I could hold that pace for 20, and who knows if i could outside. right hamstring was really tight and cramping by the end but I pushed through (and was able to keep cool down about 6.0 for the mile). I would like to get outside for next weeks tempo if the weather cooperates a little bit - i miss running outside sooooo much!
