Notes
Good race. Wasn't really feeling great about the race when I woke up to darkness and sleet. Fortunately it ended up being dry for the race. Cold (35ish) and windy (15-20mph)... including an epic headwind during the final "climb" before turning to the finish. Great atmosphere. With all the focused/fast runners at the start it was easy to get fired up. Forgot my watch, but fortunately there were clocks at each mile.
mile 1 - 5:16
mile 2 - 10:36 (5:20)
mile 3 - 16:00 (5:24)
mile 4 - 21:10 (5:10)
Website says 26:21, but the finisher photo says 26:15 (gun time). A guy that finished about 25seconds ahead of me found the website clocked him 7 seconds slower than his watch. Looks like he split the difference in his log. Seems like a good enough compromise to me.
