Tried to go out easy and finish at goal race pace. Didn't exactly work. Went a little too fast in the first half and didn't have enough in the tank to go fast enough in the later miles. Still a decent negative split though (1:21:25 first half and 1:18:37 second half). As the race progressed, I was hoping to still be able to crack 2:40, but the head wind in the final miles was rough, and I just missed it. Oh well...
