Notes
This was long. So very, very long. Mentally, I was prepared for something around 2 hours and sort of checked out once I got past that point and still had a ways to go. Aside from that, this run was both better and worse than expected. Worse than expected: achy, cramping legs in the last couple of miles. I could tell I was running like someone in pain and had a really stiff stride, but I was still moving. Better than expected: my energy levels. I was nowhere near as exhausted as I expected to be at the end of this, even considering the last 4 miles were pretty much all uphill. I was hurting like crazy, but I was still running without a problem.
Considering I've got 3 more runs on the schedule that are 18+ miles and 6 weeks to go until the race, I think I'm in a really good spot for the marathon next month.
