Tailwind on the way out, headwind on the way back. I expected it to be awful, but it was OK once I discovered that even going into the wind, the knee prefers to pedal a bigger gear at a lower cadence than a smaller gear at a higher cadence. Ended the ride feeling really good, despite the rain.
