Clearly, something is not right with my HR monitor, as I'm pretty sure my HR was never actually 224.

Given that this is the first time I've run more than 13 miles in about 3 years and that my training has recently been very spotty (wedding, out of town, back in school, sick, etc), this went WAY better that I was expecting. I definitely was feeling tired towards the end and the overall pace was a bit on the quick side, but it wasn't anywhere near as painful as it could have been. Most of the run felt pretty good, actually. I feel like I'm ready to just jump right back in to the marathon training and pick up where I should be, despite the setbacks.
