Overall I'm really happy with the race - I felt strong and relaxed in the water and was thrilled with my swim time. On the bike and the run, I feel like I raced them at the right level - conservative enough to get through the race, but I don't think I could have gone any faster and still finished. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I do need to work on my nutrition - I didn't take in anywhere near enough calories on the bike, and I felt that for the rest of the day. I would have felt much better if I'd had more to eat. I had Clif bars and a PB sandwich with me on the bike, but ran into the problem of nothing tasting good (Clif bars were too sweet, sandwiches were on rye bread which just had too much flavor) so I didn't want to eat. I got down what I could and used Gatorade more than water for hydration, but it just wasn't enough. I was able to grab some extra Gus and pretzels on the run course, which helped, but I should have had more on the bike.
