Easy Long run by myself. Did the Cannon Trail to Wildwood to Saltzman to Leif loop. Wildwood was in SHITTY shape. Tons of mud pits everywhere and I had to stop or slow down many times to try and make it through them. Leif also had a few mud pit spots. I would now venture to say that the Wilson River Trail is SUPERIOR to Wildwood in every aspect. Might have to consider doing some of my long runs out there from now on. Body actually felt good the entire time and I was able to easily and effortlessly pick up the pace once I got onto Leif. Weather was outstanding today as we finally got another break in the clouds. Temperature was perfect. I find it odd that January seems to be warmer than I remember compared to the past. Global Warming? Nah!
