Solid effort two days after a race. Body felt decent and I knew I'd be able to run well. Warmed up with 4 around the hood and then came home and did the workout on Hobbs in front of the house. Today's workout: 8 x 3 min + 2 x 2 min @ 5K-8K pace with 2 min recoveries. Each rep felt pretty good. Never felt like I reached too deep into the well or redlined. I actually felt like I recovered pretty quickly with only 2 minutes. I guess that is just the result of my insane base. Was super pissed off again because of the windy conditions. Definately felt like it slowed me down a few times during the workout. Drank a sip of Gleukos in between every 2 reps. Cooled down with an easy mile afterward. Wanted to get more of a cooldown in but ran out of time before work. I am pleased with the results though.
