PM run on Banks/Vernonia Trail. Started at the Banks trailhead and went out to the six and back. Didn't feel very strong going out but felt much better coming back. Was able to bring a nice kick at the end despite all the miles I've done today. I also did a .2 mile cooldown on the soft surface trail to bring my total daily run distance to 26.2 miles. This is one of those rare high mileage double days/ special blocks. I did it because the weather was just too nice to sit around indoors all day. I needed to take advantage of this rare opportunity to get some serious marathon prep in. Glad I did. I feel like my body is ready to run a marathon (with Danya).
