Body felt great today. Met Billy at the Jesse Mays center in North Plains. Ran most of the Garlic Festival route out to the hilly section. Today's workout was 3 x 5 mins uphill + 3 x 600m flat. Did a 3 mile warmup and strides and then started up the hilly part. Hill wasn't as extreme as the David Hill Rd hill (which Helen did her workout on). Could've been a little hillier but we managed. Lots of nice places out there and great scenery (pumpkin ridge rd.) Finished the workout with the 600's on a flat stretch of road. I felt amazing during these. Very fast and effortless. It was a wonderful feeling.
