Notes
Great run today at Lief. It was a little rainy and muddy on the trail, but I felt good. Had to stop briefly to look at a big salamander that was crawling across the side of the trail. I of course had to touch his black slimey skin! I took it easy for the first few miles and gradually ramped up the pace as the run progressed. During the last couple miles I felt like I was flying and with no effort at all. That was the easiest 1:05:36 10 miler I've EVER done. Hopefully, next week's races go well. I am planning on the 3K at the Hillsboro All-comers meet and then a 10K time trial on the southside of Sauvie Island on saturday with Mark Boen pacing me on his bike. I feel like I am in great form now and have recovered from my overtraining symptoms of a few weeks ago. We'll see what the next week brings.
