Notes

Workout: 5 x 1 mile @ near goal 20K pace. Interval avg. 5:41. Did workout on springwater before work. Body felt pretty good. Beet juice may have helped with keeping the pace feeling easier. First and last intervals felt somewhat tough. Middle 3, felt relatively relaxed which is what I was going for. Pace seems about my goal pace going into the 20K race on sunday. Got very concerned after doing the 100m strides as my hamstring & gluteus muscle on my right leg felt tight and sore. Was worried something bad might happen during the workout but nothing came of it. I think I will foam roll the crap out of it tonight. I don't want anything drastic to happen during the upcoming race. Weather was fine today and am glad all the shitty snow melted away.
