Awesome run on the trail today! Started at Elk Creek Campground and went out towards Jones Creek segment of WRT. Really liked this segment of the trail as it was generally rolling with a few good river encounters (especially in the beginning going over the bridge where I could look into the river and see Salmon swimming around!) There were two significant uphill segments of the run. One towards the turn around point (35 mins in) and one coming back. Although not incredibly long, they were steep. Still enjoyed the run and was glad to have good (but cold) weather. Body felt good with no noticeable hip pain. Legs are getting strong from all of the hills.
