Notes

Solid treadmill workout at the gym. Too hot to run outside today. Wanted to try doing mile repeats uphill since I don't believe I've done such a workout before. First mile set the incline to 1% and felt good. 2nd mile set the incline to 2% and it felt harder. 3rd mile felt the hardest as I set the incline to 3-3.5%. Almost called it in after that but decided I should probably get at least another good 800m in uphill. Did the 800m at 3-3.5% in 5:36 avg. pace. That was tough. Finished with a .5 cooldown. Did the whole workout continuously alternating the uphill miles w/ 800m flat @ 6:40 pace. Really challenging workout which is what I like!!!! Swam in the pool a bit and sat in the steam room briefly afterward.
