Another amazing workout today. Had to do the workout on the treadmill at the gym due to the horrible weather outside. Was dreading having to run the entire day's mileage on the treadmill but it actually seemed to go by fast (doing intervals). Workout was 5 x 1 mile @ 90% effort w/ 800m recoveries @ 7:30 pace. After my 2.5 mile warmup I went straight into the workout. Did a 'cut down' workout where I started at 5:40 pace and then got faster each time. My last two reps were very fast, something like 5:03 & 4:53. At the end of the intervals I was maxing out the treadmill speed trying to get tired. The best thing about today was how great I felt all the way through. Never redlined at all and I actually felt like I couldn't get tired! Very encouraged by how fast I am recovering and how well my workouts are going. It was only 3 days ago that I did that 20 mile progression run with Billy and today I feel great and was able to run fast mile reps. I think a lot of it has to do with nailing down my training schedule and the great supps I'm taking. Great workout!!!
