Notes

First speed work workout back. Body felt fluid and fast. Kept the effort at 90%. Ian Dobson happened to be at the track at the same time and appeared to be doing a similair workout. For two of the intervals, he started before me and I fell in behind him. Pretty fun doing a pickup workout with an Olympian (2008 Beijing 5000m) PB 13:15.33, seemed like a nice guy as well. Just goes to show how saturated the Portland area has become with the nation's finest distance runners. This is the premiere place to train. Hips hurt a bit after the workout. The speed training seems to aggervate them a little more than usual.
