Notes

Solid workout today at Glencoe. Hadn't worked out there in a while so I figured I'd put in some 400's there. Warmed up out and back to the Jackson Woods Trail. I like that trail even though its not very long. Lots of good memories in there from over the years. Back to the track and then some strides. 400's went well. Felt challenging but not at all impossible to sustain. Last one I decided to open up a bit and ended up running a 67 which was nice, especially since it didn't redline me at all. I took 200m rest in between each interval which was just enough. After the 400's I went out to the hill near evergreen & jackson school. I thought it was going to be steeper and more challenging than it actually was. I just remember in high school it being more challenging. Anyways I banged out 8 reps of fast hills and then headed back to Glencoe. The hills felt great and did not burn at all. (Next time I need to work out on a real hill). Overall I am very pleased with how today went. It feels good to be doing shorter fast stuff again and I think my body is responding well.
