Noble Woods

Notes

Today's last marathon workout: 4 x 1 mile @ Marathon Pace w/ full recovery + 2 x 800m pickups at 5K-10K pace. Body felt decent today during the workout. Decided to do it at one of my old favorite mile interval locations: Noble Woods Park. Its been a while and it was nice to be back and wrap up a big cycle of training there with one last workout. Unfortunately, the weather was TERRIBLE with a sustained downpour for most of the workout. Got soaking wet but still carried on with the day's business. Each interval felt controlled and fairly easy. 800's did not feel so good as the faster turnover was a bit tougher. Overall, I'm glad to wrap up this training cycle and have a good workout, despite the harsher than usual weather conditions. From here on out it is rest and recover time. Lets hope all is well come sunday.
