Awesome workout today!!! Modified a traditional 5 x 1 mile workout by including 5 x 200m in the workout aftter each mile interval. It definately added to the workout and made it more challenging while never making me feel redlined. Will have to recommend this workout to friends, I LOVED it! I decided to do the whole thing at the YMCA track which was a good idea because of the nearby water source and accurate intervals. Felt really good throughout the entire workout. Had to use my trainers because I left my Lunaracers at home. I was a little worried I'd feel like crap again today because yesterday's easy run felt so bad. But thankfully that wasn't the case. Mile splits were 5:30, 5:28, 5:28, 5:27, 5:17. 200 splits were pretty consistent at :33, :33, :33, :33, :31. Like always, I gave a little extra effort at the end for the last two intervals which ended up as my fastest. Overall great run which indicates that my fitness continues to progress.
