Went with Nicole to her race today to pace her for a 5K. Race was rinky dink and a little sketchy (starting out of somebody's driveway & garage). Course not accurate. Distance slightly short, around 3.08 mi. Race went very well for Nicole who ran exceptionally and set a new PR regardless. Had competition for the first half of the race from Nicole's friend Angie, but at the half-way mark Nicole made her move and finished with a 30 second gap on her. 19:31 total time, better than her previous best of (20:54) by a whopping 1:23!!! My body felt great. Like a nice easy run. Went to Ihop afterwards for breakfast with Nicole and her girls.
