Run #2 with Shawn Pollard and Shawn Fischer. Ran a loop on the 'Wellness Trail' (bark chip trail near Albertsons) and then did their Linfield 'Iwo Jima' loop. Out and back on a country road out to a property with a metal works statue of the famous Iwo Jima Marine Corpse flag raising and a sign next to a drinking fountain that says 'Have a drink on Gunny!'. Cool landmark. Felt better for this run and we managed to pick the pace up for the last few miles. Finished back on campus near the track.
