It was a pretty normal run. Got home very early today, around 4. Headed out soon thereafter around 4:10, 4:15. I wasted sure where I wanted to go so I just when north on Busey until Springfield, then I turned left and ran all the way to sixth, then turned north again. Then I remembered how fun crystal lake was so I headed east again to find the backwards entrance on Lincoln avenue. I ended up running through a couple of parking lots and this scraggly long-haired man gave me a strange look. At th

is point I was about 17 minutes in and was feeling good. I headed up lincoln and found the entrance to Crystal lake. It was a bit muddy and I splashed a lot onto my white shoes, but I didn't mind because I've had those shoes for a long time but have managed to keep them almost embarrassingly clean so I decided it was okay and probably good that I scuffed em up a bit. Anyways, I enjoyed my time in the woods. I ran all the way through, then derped a little on the road near there and then headed ba

ck in. On my way out there was a strange woman wearing a face mask that looked very intensely into my eyes. I convinced myself that she had a gun and was going to kill me so I started sprinting, when I got to the staircase to exit I kept sprinting and let me tell you that was a lot for my legs. took a brief break, which was good because I was back to the super muddy part. After that I pretty much just ran home without anything interesting happening. Overall the run felt good. I think I need to g

et at least 1 or 2 long runs in before the Big Race and then I think I'll really kill it. I got home and got my oatmeal bake ready. The most difficult part was that the brown sugar has gone hard so I had to stab it repeatedly with a knife to get a small chunk to finally break off the corner. But, you saw it, it seems to have all turned out fine. I had pizza for dinner then ice cream for dessert. Lots of ice cream. Hopefully this satisfies your craving to hear about my run. 10/10

That is the most words I’ve ever seen on a Sara log. I’m very happy. Rn I have 2 pairs of white shoes that I alternate every other day. One pair has gotten pretty dirty because of mud, but the other pair is really clean.

Is oatmeal bake like an oatmeal cake?

Leonel I'm glad you're happy. An oatmeal bake is just like oatmeal and fruit and almond milk and cinnamon and sugar and you bake it in the oven.

What's an oatmeal cake?

I made up the term trying to figure out what an oatmeal bake was. But I’d imagine it’s a cake with the main ingredient being oatmeal.
