Started well, around 5:30, but the heat got progressively worse throughout the race which doesn't exactly help when you're already trying to run fast lol. Only ran one second faster than last year, but I'm not upset with the time given that it's been like three months since I've actually had a solid race. Won my age group (15-19) for the second year in a row and finished 5th out of like 700 something.
