First ever Paul Short experience. I felt like I was pretty much sprinting the first mile and didn’t really feel too relaxed until about two miles in when I finally had a little bit of breathing room. Once we hit the hills I was really able to go to work, I moved up a ton by forcing myself not to settle during the third and fourth miles and pushing up and through the hills. Had a Sagar-inspired full sprint the last 300 meters and passed like ten more people there too. All in all not a bad race, I still think I can do better but this was a big step in the right direction. Pr by 61.7 seconds.
