COMMENTS: Met up in Wellesley for TMC run. Worried about this run with lingering cold and achilles. Neither was really an issue during the run, but pace was slower than it felt. Not sure why it felt this hard. Ran with Matt Novak for 1st 6.5, which felt comfortable, then picked it up to try to catch up with front group. Finally made contact just after Natick train station. Effort and HR more indicative of marathon pace, but was much slower. Maybe still not fully recovered. Left tibialis tendonitis last 3 miles, probably from stiff new shoes.
