Notes

2 mile warmup with strides in the second mile, then attempted a 4-mile progression. Goal was 6:30-6:20-6:10-6:00. Hit the first mile too quick in 6:20, then could only muster a 6:13 second mile. Was doubting my ability to pick up the pace any more than that, so I decided to turn this into a 2x 2 mile workout. Second two-mile leg went better than the first, which was surprising and encouraging. Kind of sad to think that my last mile was about as fast as I raced Grandma's, but such is life.
