Left IT band started hurting at mile 3 and one of the talkative girls in the 3:15 pace group tripped me 3 times...the 3rd time I almost fell. After that the pain in my knee and hip got worse to the point at mile 15 I had to stop, walk, and stretch. I was going to DNF. Started jogging again and somehow made it to finish but couldn't catch the pace group.
