Pretty epic down to Toya for the marathon. Bev and Ness packed shoes as they planned to bike down, run the full 42.2, then bike home! Followed the race for a while, until it was cancelled at the 20k point due to a freak landslide on the course! New roadie GCP along for the ride too - outstanding!
Pretty comfortable all day, pushed hard on some hills and had a good hard TT around the lake with Bevan to make it to the race start on time. Cruised home with the guys into a nasty headwind. Big ring all day.
